ValeWorks is a free, browser-based virtual tabletop (VTT) for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. It bundles a digital GM screen, a guided character creator, a 3D dice roller, and a homebrew builder into a single tool, so the whole table can play online without juggling tabs.
Making the game we love free for all.
ValeWorks' VTT lets a GM load a map, drop tokens, and run combat without spending an evening on setup. Tokens, lighting, music, and dice are built in. There is no download, no install, and no per-seat cost for your players — share a link and start playing.
The Digital GM Screen replaces the paper screen with a live panel that includes a combat tracker, NPC and monster references, ambient music controls, condition and rules quick-lookups, and per-campaign notes. Everything is keyboard-accessible and tuned for fast in-session use.
The character creator walks first-time and experienced players through race, class, background, ability scores, skills, equipment, and spells with the SRD baked in. The output is a live character sheet that links to your campaigns and homebrew. We believe no one should have to face a 350-page rulebook alone.
Create homebrew spells, monsters, classes, subclasses, races, backgrounds, feats, magic items, weapons, armor, equipment, and vehicles. Each creator generates fully-functional content that drops straight into character sheets and the VTT — scaling rules, save DCs, conditions, and effects all wire up automatically.
A physics-based 3D dice roller is built into every sheet and the VTT. Equip dice sets earned over time, and roll attacks, saves, skill checks, and damage with one click. Rolls broadcast to the table in real time.
